Thursday night was a sweep for the Lady Laker Volleyball program as all three teams defeated Metcalfe County.
The varsity team took a 3-1 win over the Lady Hornets to improve to 3-3 on the season and pick up their first district win of the season.
Kenzie Kelsey, Rachel Webb, Briley Murray, and Emery Kate Robertson each finished with four kills. Sophie Shearer led the team with five blocks, and Lauren White led the team in assists with 9. Lauren White and Amy McGowan each finished with three service aces.
The JV team picked up a 2-0 win over Metcalfe, while the freshman team came away with a 2-1 win.
The Lady Lakers are back in action Saturday as they take on Allen County – Scottsville.
