SCC still offering free fall 2021 semester for first-time students

Somerset Community College is still offering a free fall 2021 semester for first-time students.

According to the SCC website, the offer includes free tuition with a minimum of 6 hours up to 15 hours for program-applicable courses, along with books and other fees.

The program is open for any first-time credential-seeking Kentucky resident. Also included is the CDL program,  paying up to six-credit hours and the BuildSmart fee (equivalent to $1,122.00).

This promotion is a “last-dollar” tuition scholarship. That means after all other financial aid or third-party payments (excluding students loans) are applied, the scholarship will cover the remaining tuition balance.

You can find more information on the SCC website here.
