Russell Springs Police made an arrest Sunday evening.
According to Russell Springs Police Chief Tim Pierce, Officer Debra Necessary asked for consent to search a vehicle she had stopped. Consent was granted. Illegal substances were located.
Daniel Brown, age 42 of Russell Springs, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance 1st deg, 3rd or > offense (Methamphetamine) and possession of controlled substance 2nd deg.
Officer Debra Necessary was assisted on scene by Lt. Bobby Pritchard.
