The Russell County 12U Softball team won their second round matchup in the Central Region Tournament by defeating Nebraska 8-0.
Brylie Jo Hardwick picked up the win for the Russell County squad, pitching a no-hitter and striking out nine batters.
Madelyn Roy led the way at the plate, going 3-4 and driving in four runs. Rylen McGowan drove in two runs and Hardwick drove in one as well.
The team now prepares for a matchup with Zionsville, Indiana on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT.
