There are now 19 active cases of COVID-19 in Russell County as of a health department report Tuesday evening and all are self-isolated.
The Lake Cumberland District Health Department released a report Tuesday evening showing there were eight new cases reported in Russell County since the last report, which was released last Friday.
A total of 221 new cases were reported in the Lake Cumberland District since Friday, with the most being in Pulaski County. 85 new cases were reported in Pulaski County during that time, followed by 34 in McCreary, Taylor with 28, Adair with 25, Casey with 13, and Wayne with 10.
14 cases were reported as hospitalized district-wide.
