Library pausing programming in August

The Russell County Public Library will be pausing programming in the month of August, as the library focuses on hiring plans and reorganizing the fall programming lineup with the plan to bring back full programming after Labor Day.

The library is undergoing some changes, most notably with the retirement of Ms. Fillamay Cowell, and the temporary pause will allow the library to reorganize and plan for the future.

The library will still be open to the public during this time.
