A Jamestown man was arrested over the weekend on an assault charge.
Cecil Allen Kemp, age 26, was arrested and charged with assault second degree Saturday night.
Kemp was arrested by the Jamestown Police Department and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
