An adult black bear was spotted at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset on Thursday.
According to the Commonwealth Journal newspaper in Somerset, the bear was spotted at the entrance to the hospital last Thursday at about 8:30 p.m. before retreating to the back of the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Authorities with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office told the newspaper that they weren’t sure if Kentucky Fish and Wildlife captured the bear, but nobody was hurt during the incident.
