Nearly 5,000 Russell County residents have been fully vaccinated

Nearly 5,000 Russell County residents have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to data from the CDC.

The data shows that 4,941 Russell County residents have been fully vaccinated. That equates to roughly 27.6 percent of the county’s population.

Among the age group 65 and older that is deemed high risk by the CDC, about 60 percent of Russell County residents in that age group have been fully vaccinated.
