Hart pitches no-hitter as Lakers win 14-0 over Casey County

In the final home game of the season for the Lady Lakers, the team’s three seniors had big performances as part of a 14-0 Russell County win over Casey County.

Natalie Hart threw a no-hitter over five innings, walking two and striking out seven.

At the plate, Hart was 3-4 with three RBI.

Fellow senior Camryn Woodrum also drove in three runs for the Lady Lakers and Katie Owens drove in one run.

Emma Popplewell and Tarryn Reynolds added two RBI each for the Lady Lakers, as Caroline Wells, Sophie Shearer, and Payton Kinnett each drove in a run.

The Lady Lakers will be on the road in district play at Cumberland County on Tuesday. The Lady Lakers took the first matchup 15-0 on April 20. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
