Vaccine now open to anyone 16+ years old

On Monday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced that all Kentuckians 16 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine is approved for individuals 16 and older; the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are approved for individuals 18 and older.

The Lake Cumberland District Health Department is accepting vaccine appointments. You can call 270-343-2181 to make an appointment.

Vaccines are also available at Russell County Hospital by calling 270-866-4141.
