The City of Russell Springs has a new police officer.
Officer Bruce Blevins was sworn into the position of Russell Springs Police officer by Mayor Eddie Thomas this week.
Blevins has more than 20 years of law enforcement experience and has worked for the Pulaski County and Casey County Sheriff’s offices.
