Russell Springs fire crews were dispatched a little after midnight on Friday to a garage fire on Dowell Road.
The garage belonged to Estus Emerson. A boat, mower, vehicle, and other personal items were damaged in the fire. Crews were able to extinguish the flames before they spread to the rest of the house.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. Crews were on scene for nearly two-and-a-half hours.
