Remains found in Hart County are those of missing Green County man

Human remains found in Hart County over the weekend belong to those of a Green County man who was reported missing in December, according to Kentucky State Police.

The Kentucky State Police Post 3 have identified the decedent in Saturday’s death investigation as 33 year-old Charles R. Calhoun of Greensburg.  Calhoun had been reported missing since December 23, 2020 and was last seen on Locust Grove Road.  Cause of death is still unknown and the investigation is on-going.

On Saturday, April 17, 2021 at approximately 6:35pm, the Kentucky State Police, Post 3 received a call of human remains being found in a wooded area on Locust Grove Road in northern Hart County. Several units responded and located decomposed human remains on the property.
