Paving begins this week on a portion of East Kentucky 80, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 8.
Work will begin toward the middle or end of this week on the portion of East 80 beginning at the intersection with Hwy 127 in Russell Springs (mile point 3.9) to KY 76 – Fonthill (mile point 7.9). Flaggers will be out managing traffic.
Motorists are asked to be aware of the paving work that is going on and to expect delays while driving cautiously through the area.
Work on the area is expected to take one week, but could change due to weather conditions.
