Senior Nick Aaron pitched a one-hit shutout as the Russell County Lakers picked up a district victory over Metcalfe County 10-0 on Tuesday.
Aaron struck out eight batters over six innings to pick up the victory.
The Lakers got contributions from the plate up-and-down the lineup. Aaron, Aiden Antle, Bryce Cowell, Nathan Lawson, Issac Roy, Maxon Gosser, and CJ VonFumetti all drove in a run for the Lakers.
The Lakers are now 5-3 on the season.
