The Russell County Lakers JV team defeated Metcalfe County 6-0 Tuesday.
Aiden Antle and Lincoln Helm combined for the shutout victory. Antle pitched two innings, giving up two hits and striking out five. Helm pitched one inning, striking out three batters.
Bryce Cowell drove in two runs for the Lakers, while Cody Luttrell, Trace Stringer, and Landon Walters each drove in one.
