Kentucky State Police Post 15 is conducting an investigation into possible abuse at Foothills Academy in Albany.
Post 15 was contacted by Clinton County Hospital on Monday regarding a juvenile that had been brought in with injuries sustained at the academy.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of three individuals.
- Gabriel Martin, 18, of Albany, charged with two counts of assault fourth degree (child abuse)
- Cecil Nevels, 24, of Monticello, charged with two counts of assault fourth degree and one count of assault second degree
- Chris Dunagan, 20, of Monticello, charged with one count of assault fourth degree.
Nevels and Dunagan were lodged in the Wayne County Detention center; Martin was lodged in the Clinton County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police.
