Gilbert Knight, 93, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 16th, at his home.
Gilbert was born in Jamestown, KY on October 21, 1927, a son of the late Fannie Mae (Cundiff) and Winfield Scott Knight.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a retired Boiler Master

His wife Irene (Blakey) Knight, of Jamestown, KY
Two daughters, Pat Napier, and Kim Stadler, of Oregonia, OH;
Four step sons Roger Shearer, and Mitchell Shearer, of Jamestown, KY; Jr.
Shearer, of Russell Springs, KY; Phillip Shearer, of Somerset. KY;
A brother, Marlin Knight, of S.C..
He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, a host of
great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Joyce Knight, daughter Sherry Knight, sister Mildred Rexroat, and a brother Bradley Knight.
Religious Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown,, KY, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 20th, with Bro. John Blakey officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday 12:00 PM . at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel. We ask everyone attending to please wear a face covering and follow Covid
rules.
Burial will be Monday March 22, 2021 1:00 PM EST at the Corwin/Miami Cemetery in Waynesville, OH.
