On Senior Night, the Lakers and Lady Lakers came away with victories over Monroe County in a doubleheader at Laker Gym.
In the first game, the Lady Lakers defeated the Lady Falcons 80-73 in triple overtime.
Seniors Juliah Bault and Star Marcum led the Lady Lakers with 33 and 27 points, respectively.
The Lady Lakers are now 12-9 on the season and are 5-1 in region play.
In the second matchup, the Lakers defeated the Falcons by a score of 62-44.
Scott Hamm led the Lakers with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Jay Milburn scored 12 points and Owen Loy added 10 points.
The Lakers are now 11-11 on the season and 5-3 in region play.
The Lakers will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Wayne County, followed by a matchup on Saturday with Jackson County at South Laurel.
The Lady Lakers will play back-to-back on Thursday and Friday, as they travel to Greenwood High School in Bowling Green on Thursday and Taylor County on Friday.
