A bill making its way through the Kentucky Legislature would make intimidating a sports official a crime in Kentucky.
If passed, it would make threatening a sports official a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a year in jail and a $500 fine.
The bill, HB 89, has passed the Kentucky House and now heads to the Senate.
