News came earlier this week from the Washington Post that of all 50 states, Kentucky was the only state where ICU bed capacity being used is lower than it was three months ago.
The information came from a longer Washington Post story, which you can read here.
“To every Kentuckian who sacrificed in this last round of restrictions, to every Kentuckian who is wearing a mask every day, to every Kentuckian who is following the rules, look at that,” Gov. Andy Beshear said in announcing the news. “I hope that makes you proud because that’s your work.”
In Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee, ICU occupancy rose more than 10 points during the same time period. Virginia and West Virginia had increases of less than 10 points.
