Ballot positions for November’s General Election in Russell County were drawn yesterday.
Deputy County Clerk Ruth Hill shared the results with WJRS NEWS yesterday. In the Jamestown City Council race, there are seven candidates for six seats. The names will appear on the ballot as follows: Barry Coffey, Tony Wright, Regena Hinton, Terry Robertson, Mitchell Marcum, Larry Appleby Sr., and Larry Joe Murray.
In the Russell Springs City Council race, there are nine persons vying for six seats. The names will appear on the ballot as follows: Jeff Padilla, Ricky Barnes, Timothy Hudson, Tommy Holt, Ray Barrett, David Blakey, Larry Skaggs, Brandon Wilson, and Sherry Bottom-Daniel.
