An Adair County man was flown to the University of Kentucky hospital early Tuesday following a one vehicle accident in Clinton county.
According to reports, 37 year-old Robert Albertson of Columbia was traveling east on KY Highway 90 approximately six miles northwest of Albany when his 2016 Kenworth truck crossed the centerline into the westbound lane, then as he attempted to overcorrect, the vehicle overturned, spilling the load of live chickens.
Albertson was wearing his seat belt and his injuries were believed to be non-life threatening. The matter is being investigated by Sergeant Randall Honeycutt of the State Police.
