New Cases of COVID-19 in RC; Statewide Update

Russell County Judge-Executive Gary Robertson announced on Friday that Russell County has 4 new cases of COVID-19, 3 of the new cases are on home self-isolation and 1 is hospitalized. This now makes a total of 23 cases since the beginning with 12 being released from isolation, 4 deaths.

Neighboring Adair County reported no new cases on Friday.

The state as a whole saw a small spike in cases on Friday, but Governor Andy Beshear says most of the new positives came from a prison in Lexington…

Four additional deaths were reported in the Commonwealth, bringing the death toll to 332.
