Russell County had no new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday according to County Judge Gary Robertson. Robertson announced one new person had been released from self-isolation. Russell County now has three active case that are all on home self-isolation.
Neighboring Adair County reported one new case of the virus on Thursday. The new case is a resident at Summit Manor Nursing Home. Two more were released from isolation.
Adair has now had a total of 91 cases with 69 being released and 14 deaths. There are now 8 active cases with 4 in home or Summit Manor Isolation and 4 in area hospitals.
