Russell County is now up to eight confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus. The new case is a resident from a local nursing home.
County Judge Gary Robertson announced on Monday the new positive case. Six of the eight cases are in self-isolation. Two of the individuals who have the disease are residents of a local nursing home with on in Russell County Hospital and the other is being treated at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Unfortunately, the state has passed 100 deaths with seven new ones confirmed on Monday.
