Governor Andy Beshear confirmed two more cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus on Tuesday. According to officials, the cases are both in Harrison County and are a male and female, ages 60 and 54.
Locally, Fair Oaks Nursing Home is no longer allowing visitors after the Governor issued orders to long term care facilities across the state. There will be exceptions for patients receiving end of life care.
A hotline has been established by the Kentucky Department of Health to keep residents informed on the Coronavirus. The hotline is 1-800-722-5725.
The state health operations center is operating at a Level One, which is the state’s highest activation level. The Coronavirus was first detected in Kentucky last Friday, March 6th. So far, eight cases have been confirmed statewide according to state officials.
