There are now 25 cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus in Kentucky.
Governor Andy Beshear made the announcement during a news conference on Monday afternoon.
Beshear announced Monday morning some new restrictions including the closing of dining areas in all restaurants and bars in the states. Drive-thru and delivery services can continue. While carryout can also continue, Beshear did say businesses cannot allow long lines during carryout.
Locally, Russell County Hospital, effective Tuesday, no visitors. A patient / minor can have one person accompany them if needed. Hospice is the exception at this time. the Russell Springs and Jamestown City Hall have both closed their lobby, South Kentucky RECC has closed their lobby as well at their community rooms. The Russell County Public Library has also cancelled all weekly and special programs until further notice.
There are no confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the Lake Cumberland Area as of this time.
