New Restrictions In Place Due to Coronavirus

The number of COVID-19 cases went up by one on Tuesday with a new case being confirmed in Lyon County. Governor Andy Beshear made the announcement during a news conference on Tuesday evening. The Judge Executive and other county office have made changes as well including most office closing to the general public or by appointment only. You can check out by clicking here to find out more on those changes. Also, Russell County Hospital, effective Tuesday, no visitors. A patient / minor can have one person accompany them if needed. Hospice is the exception at this time.

All drivers license testing and issuance have been suspended.

The Russell County Public Library closed yesterday and will be closed until further notice. However, beginning today the library will be offering curbside service for those who would like to reserve specific titles online or by phone.
