Two Russell County residents were arrested yesterday and charged with Receiving Stolen Property. Arrested by Trooper Billy Begley were 56-year-old Deborah Ann Russell and 52-year-old Tony Russell. Both were booked into the Russell County Detention Center shortly after 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon by Trooper Begley on the charges.
A Jamestown man who reportedly had been hiding from authorities since December was apprehended yesterday. According to Sheriff Derek Polston, deputies in his office located 39 year Ryan Butrum yesterday afternoon, hiding under a house located just off Pinehurst Circle in Jamestown. Butrum was arrested pursuant to a warrant charging him with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, first degree first offense, methamphetamine. He was lodged in the Russell County Jail by Deputy Kenny Perkins around 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon.
