An early morning complaint of a suspicious person resulted in drug charges. Just before 1:30am on Thursday, Officer Ethan Pike received a complaint of a male setting on a motorcycles in the Middletown trailer park. Through the course of the investigation approximately 7.43 grams of suspected Methamphetamine was located and seized. As a result, Steven G. Allen 46 of Somerset was taken into custody and charged with the following. Possession of a controlled substance first degree first offense, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving under the influence first offense; and several traffic related offenses. Allen was arrested and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
