Around 1:00 Monday morning, Adair County Sheriff’s K-9 Deputy Josh Durbin observed a vehicle heading westbound on the Cumberland Parkway at a high rate of speed.
Deputy Durbin activated his lights and sirens and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the vehicle did not pull over. The vehicle, which turned out to be a 2014 Kia tried to exit the parkway at the 49 miler marker, but due to the high rate of speed, the driver lost control of the vehicle, stuck an earth embankment in front of the KSP Post and continued through a fence before stopping.

Lundy was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
