Alva Lena Wright, age 95, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, October 25th, 2019 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown.
She is survived by:
Five Children
- Judy Smith and Cathie Rogers, both of Jamestown
- Alva Smith of Russell Springs
- Zula Commer of Berea
- James Smith of Louisville
Two Step-Children
- Jewell Hogan and Charlie Wright
Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Alva Lena Wright will be held Wednesday, October 30th at 1:00 pm at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs. Memorials are suggested to Gideons International and Hospice of Lake Cumberland. These can be made at the funeral home.
