Illegal drugs were discovered after a warrant check this past Friday night, according to the Russell Springs Police Department. Officer Lucas Justice made contact with Brandon K. Knight 38, of Russell Springs. Knight was then found to have an active warrant for his arrest. As he was being arrested, Officer Justice located an amount of a white crystal substance consistent with methamphetamine.
Knight was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st meth, drug paraphernalia buy/possess, and served with an active warrant. Officer Justice was assisted on scene by Russell County Constable Kenny Luttrell.
Knight was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
