Laker Country 1049 WJRS is proud to announce and welcome the “Coach Ryan Richardson Show” to the airwaves. Russell County Laker Head Football Coach Ryan Richardson will join “the voice of Laker football”, Tony Kerr, every Thursday night at 6 o’clock for a one hour, live program to be broadcast from McDonald’s in Russell Springs.
“We are really excited about the show. It will give Laker fans a unique look into the Laker football program each week as the show will feature not only Coach Richardson, but also assistant coaches, players, and fans. It is going to be a lot of fun for all of us who are Laker fans and especially Laker football fans,” said Jeff Hoover of Laker Country 1049 WJRS.
The Coach Ryan Richardson Show will begin airing on Thursday, September 10th, at 6:00 p.m., the night before the Lakers host Casey County at Ron Finley field.
“I look forward to talking with Tony (Kerr) about our upcoming opponent on Friday night, and what we can expect from the game, but I also want our community to know what outstanding young men we have as members of the Laker football team. Having some of our players on my show each week will give Laker fans a chance to get to know this student-athletes even better,” said Richardson about the show.
