COVID-19 Case Update

Russell County once again had no new cases of the Novel Coronavirus on Monday according to County Judge Gary Robertson. There are still 6 active cases that are all on home self-isolation.

Adair County reported one new case on Monday. Unfortunately, Adair also reported two additional deaths due to the virus. Both deaths were residents of Summit Manor Nursing Home.

Governor Andy Beshear announced that Kentucky had 122 new cases on Sunday and then 138 on Monday, bringing the statewide total to 7,935. A total of 12 more deaths were reported, bringing the statewide death toll to 346.

Currently, Over 145,000 Kentuckians have been tested, with 2,785 total recoveries from COVID-19. Additional information can be found online at kycovid19.ky.gov.
