Linda Marlene Pierce, 58, of Russell Springs, died Monday, September 28, 2026, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.
Born January 26, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Onis and Modyne Polston Popplewell. Linda was currently employed at Tarter Gate at the time of her passing. She was an avid gardener, wonderful cook, and enjoyed watching movies in her spare time. However, Linda’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Pierce; two sons, Jordan (and Chelsey) Pierce and Aaron (and Sarah) Pierce, both Russell Springs; one brother, Gerald Jeffrey Popplewell, of Russell Springs; one sister, Melanie (and Jerry) Huff, of Russell Springs, five grandchildren, Avery Pierce, Charlee Pierce, Garon Jones, William Pierce, and Lincoln Pierce; and her beloved cocker spaniel, Lucy.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Troy Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in Square Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until time of services.
