Russell Springs city leaders recognized a local business during Thursday evening’s meeting of the Russell Springs City Council.
Mayor Eddie Thomas presented Mitchell Richards with a certificate and award honoring Lawless & Smith True Value Supply for 40 years of service in the City of Russell Springs.
The locally operated business provides hardware and home-improvement products, including major appliances, tools, paint, plumbing supplies, lawn and garden items and outdoor furnishings.
City officials congratulated Richards and Lawless & Smith for reaching the milestone and thanked the business for its longtime investment and service to Russell Springs and the surrounding communities.
