The Supreme Court of Kentucky will hold official oral arguments at Campbellsville University next week.
The court will hear cases Wednesday and Thursday, September 16th and 17th, at Ransdell Chapel. Sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day.
The court is traveling across Kentucky due to ongoing renovations at the State Capitol in Frankfort, with Campbellsville University selected as one of its stops.
Those attending will be required to pass a security check. Bags and purses are prohibited, along with cell phone use, cameras and recordings. Courtroom-appropriate attire is also required.
The event offers the public a rare opportunity to observe Kentucky’s highest court hearing real cases in a formal court setting.
