The Russell County Lady Laker volleyball team completed a clean sweep over Metcalfe County in district competition.
The freshman squad won its match two sets to one, while the junior varsity Lady Lakers earned a two-set sweep. The varsity team capped off the night with a hard-fought three-sets-to-two victory.
Russell County returns to the court Thursday on the road at Taylor County. The first serve is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
