Bobby Popplewell, age 95, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026 , at Jean Waddle Hospice Center in Somerset, KY.
He was born on Saturday, August 1, 1931, in Greensburg, KY.
He was the son of:
Mother – Jennie Vee Milby Popplewell, who has preceded him in death
Father – Theodore Roosevelt Popplewell, who has preceded him in death

He is survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was retired from Caterpillar and member at Clear Fork Baptist Church. He loved karaoke and BINGO and was an avid Donald Trump fan and loved his Trump cap. He loved his family and friends and his dog Runner, his constant companion. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Rose Popplewell, son, Ted Popplewell, brothers, Okie Popplewell, Orvan Popplewell, Carson Popplewell, Thomas Popplewell and two sisters, Mimi Popplewell and Ann Daniels.
