Barbara (Hadley) Powell, age 68, of Jamestown, KY passed away Sunday, July 05 2026 at T.J. Health Care . She was born on Saturday, July 27 1957, in Jamestown, Ky.

She was the daughter of:

Mother – Mae Grant Hadley, who has preceded her in death
Father – James Woodrow Hadley, who has preceded her in death

Survivors also include:

1 Son:

  • Chris Powell, spouse Erin, of Jamestown KY.

1 Sister:

  • Sharon Kelly, spouse Ted, of Jamestown KY

3 Brothers:

  • James Gary Hadley, spouse Susan, of Jamestown KY
  • Ernest Darrell Hadley, spouse Patsy, of Jamestown KY
  • David Hadley, spouse Melody, of Jamestown KY

She is survived by two grandchildren John “Jack” Powell and Jemma Powell. She was a retail clerk at Aaron’s Country Store, a homemaker, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Powell.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, July 10 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 9 AM Friday, July 10 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
