Sheriff Bobby Jones says a Pulaski County man is behind bars following an investigation into alleged sexual abuse involving children.
Sixty-nine-year-old Jeffrey Bryant of Science Hill was arrested Monday at his home after investigators obtained a warrant charging him with First-Degree Sexual Abuse and First-Degree Indecent Exposure.
The investigation began when Deputy Grant Bryant received a complaint of sexual abuse. The case was later turned over to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
Following that investigation, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Bryant.
He was taken into custody and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center, where he remains held on a 20-thousand-dollar cash bond.
