First responders called to collision on North 127 Sunday evening

Several persons were injured during a two-vehicle collision around 5:20 Sunday evening at the intersection of U.S. 127 North and Damron Creek Road.

Two persons were airlifted to the U.K. Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

Several agencies responded to the crash including the Russell County EMS, Russell Springs Fire Department, Russell County Sheriff’s Department and Kentucky State Police.

KSP is leading the investigation and has not released any further details at this time.
