Three Adair County residents were arrested on drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop in Russell County early Saturday morning.
According to the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Stone Bolin stopped a vehicle and discovered approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine during the investigation.
Arrested were 61-year-old Connie Miller, 55-year-old David Miller, and 63-year-old Eulas Watson, all of Columbia. Each was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
In addition to the drug charge, Connie Miller was cited for rear license plate not illuminated, expired registration, and failure to produce an insurance card.
All three were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.

Two people were arrested Friday night in separate incidents by deputies with the Russell County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Chad Fox arrested Chrishonda Squire of Campbellsville on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree wanton endangerment.
Deputy Stone Bolin arrested 58-year-old Larry Gillock of Russell Springs. Gillock faces charges of reckless driving, driving under the influence, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Squire and Gillock were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
