Two people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 80 in Adair County on Monday.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office said 18-year-old Tianna King of Columbia was operating a 2011 Chevy Impala on East 80 Drive and attempted to turn onto Highway 80 when she turned into the path of a 2012 Ford Fusion operated by 37-year-old Jessica Stotts, also of Columbia.
Both drivers were transported by Adair County EMS to TJ Health Columbia for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into the collision.
