Motorcyclist Killed in Pulaski County Crash

Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Pulaski County.

According to KSP, the collision happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday on KY 3091 near the intersection of Wilson Road.

Investigators say 34-year-old Nathan Grider of Somerset was traveling southbound on a 2025 Roadster 250 motorcycle at what is described as a high rate of speed. At the same time, 32-year-old Shelby Crawford of Somerset was driving a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas northbound and attempting to make a left turn onto Wilson Road.

Police say Grider’s motorcycle struck the front passenger side of Crawford’s vehicle.

Grider was seriously injured and transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. 

Crawford was also taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries and was later released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
