Progress is continuing on The Green at Russell County Public Library.

Russell County Public Library Director Cody Gabehart told WJRS News the project is entering its final stages and the library is still looking at officially opening the area this summer.

The Green is a five-acre expansion behind the library. Gabehart said the space aims to elevate the quality of life for Russell County residents and shared details about what people can expect.
