Firefighters Called to Early Morning Blaze at Stephens Pipe & Steel

The Jamestown and Russell Springs Fire Departments responded early this morning to a fire at Stephens Pipe & Steel on North Main Street.

Jamestown firefighters were dispatched just before 3:00 a.m. and requested assistance from Russell Springs about an hour later. Jamestown Fire Chief Jeff Landers tells us about the two-alarm fire….

Approximately 30 volunteer firefighters responded to the scene, working together to bring the fire under control then extinguishing it. Firefighters remained on site for about three hours. Photo credit: JVFD
